Customer Care Specialist

Your role:

As a Customer Care Specialist, you will not only be the first point of contact for our customers and sales colleagues, but you will also play an active role in stimulating sales growth. You will be responsible for providing excellent service and developing strong customer relationships. Together with the Field Sales team, you will proactively help expand our customer accounts and capitalise on sales opportunities.

What will you be doing?

Customer Care and order management

  • Ensuring efficient order processing and timely follow-up of orders.
  • Proactively resolving potential problems with order fulfilment and proposing alternatives to customers if necessary.
  • Collaborating with logistics and supply chain for timely deliveries.

Customer relationship management

  • Build strong customer relationships and act as the first point of contact for both customers and sales colleagues.
  • Handle incoming questions and problems while ensuring an optimal customer experience.
  • Escalate complaints and ensure timely and effective resolution.
  • Support customer accounts with CRM tools and optimise internal processes for efficient account management.

Sales & administration:

  • Actively contacting customers to identify and capitalise on sales opportunities.
  • Offering alternative or additional products in a timely manner.
  • Promoting new products and offers.
  • Providing support in coding price agreements, sales agreements and preparing presentations or quotations.
  • Proactively following up on sales agreements and facilitating renewals in collaboration with Field Sales.
  • Guiding customers on the self-service portal and helping them increase online orders.

Personal development and knowledge sharing:

  • Staying up to date with product knowledge and improvements in operational processes by participating in training courses.
  • Actively contributing to team meetings, sharing customer insights and collaborating with different departments to implement customer-focused improvements.

Your profile:

  • Experience in a customer-focused or sales role is an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Customer-focused, proactive and solution-oriented thinking.
  • Experience with CRM systems and/or ERP software is a plus.
  • Good command of English.
